Jeffrey Eaton is a cellist in the Eugene Symphony and has played cello for over 45 years. The music he enjoys includes: Bach- Goldberg Variations, Beethoven: String Quartet, Op. 131, and Schubert: Cello Quintet. In addition to the Eugene Symphony, he also performs with the Eugene Opera, Corvallis-OSU Symphony; he has previously performed with the Oregon Bach Festival, Oregon Coast Music Festival, among others. He was born in Berkeley, California and has lived in Hawaii, California, and Ohio before moving to Eugene over 25 years ago. Jeffery holds music degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve University. Outside of music he enjoys gardening. One of his most memorable experience performing with the Eugene Symphony was having the opportunity to perform with Yo-Yo Ma.
