• Cello

Ann Grabe performs in the cello section of the Eugene Symphony. She is also principal cellist of the OSU-Corvallis Symphony Orchestra and the Oregon Mozart Players. She holds a Master of Music degree from Ithaca College, a Master of Music Education degree and an Artist’s Diploma from the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart, Germany, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University. Grabe has performed with the Oregon Coast Music Festival, Cascade Music Festival, and Oregon Festival of American Music. Past festival performances include those in Santa Sofia, Italy; Guelph, Ontario, Canada; Pomona, California; Aspen, Colorado; and La Côte de St. André, France. Grabe has an active cello studio in Corvallis, teaches cello at OSU, and has conducted the Corvallis Preparatory Orchestra. She is an approved Suzuki Method teacher-trainer in both Europe and the United States.
