The 2010-11 season marks Scott King's seventh season playing french horn with the Eugene Symphony. Growing up in Fremont, Ohio, Scott received his Bachelor of Music degree from the New Englad Conservatory of Music, his Master of Music Degree from Ohio University, and his Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Oregon. In addition to performing with the Eugene Symphony, Scott performs with the Eugene Opera, the Newport Symphony and the Oregon Mozart Players. Scott's favorite musical performers are Ray Charles and Gloria Estefan. Outside of music, Scott enjoys reading.
