Brad Kintscher plays second horn in the Eugene Symphony; he has played French Horn for 35 years. From 1988- 2005, he was an active recording musician, playing for motion pictures, television, jingles, and various recordings along with other live events around Los Angeles. He was principal horn in the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, third horn in the Santa Barbara Symphony, and played regularly with the with the Pacific Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Los Angeles Opera, among others. He received a Bachelor of Music degree from California State University Northridge where he studied with Ralph Pyle and studied for over 12 years with Brass Pedagogue Claude Gordon. Some of his favorite songs include: Richard Strauss’ “Der Rosenkavalier (Op. 59),” Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and Bill Evans’ “Waltz for Debbie.” When not performing, Brad enjoys photography, woodworking, and camping in his Airstream trailer.
