In addition to performing as Principal Horn of the Eugene Symphony, David Kruse is also Principal Horn of Eugene Opera Orchestra, the Sunriver Music Festival, the Oregon Mozart Players, and Portland Chamber Orchestra; in addition, he has performed for many years with the Oregon Bach Festival. After his studies at Yale and The Juilliard School, Dave was Principal of several symphony orchestras in Mexico. He played six seasons in the Phoenix Symphony and later spent a year as Principal Horn of the Victoria Symphony in British Columbia. When he isn't playing music, Dave enjoys golf, skiing and hiking with his dog.
