Lisa McWhorter serves as Assistant Concertmaster of the Eugene Symphony. Lisa grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where her mother was a pianist. She has played violin for 30 years. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music Degree in violin performance. She has also started her Master of Music at the University of New Mexico. When not performing, Lisa enjoys being a mother of two beautiful children.
