Christine Mirabella is the principal keyboardist of the Eugene Symphony. Growing up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., she began playing the piano at the age of six. She plays with the Oregon Coast Music Festival, Oregon Percussion Ensemble and the Mama Mia Broadway Touring Company, among others. A highlight of playing with the Eugene Symphony was when she was told last minute that she had to play a jazz solo in a pops concert. She enjoys playing Bach, Brahms and contemporary classical music. Christine graduated from Indiana University School of Music with both a Bachelor of Music degree and Master of Music degree in Piano Performance. Her mother was a pianist and teacher while her father played the cello and oboe. Her twin sister also plays piano.
