Norma Wilson performs in the first violin section of the Eugene Symphony. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Illinois in violin performance and a Master of Science degree in Education from Western Oregon University. Her teachers include George Perlman, Paul Rolland, Eudice Shapiro, Robert Mann, Louis Krasner & John Svoboda. Norma has performed with the Vancouver Symphony in Canada, the Aspen Festival Orchestra, Eugene Opera Orchestra, Oregon Mozart Players, numerous chamber ensembles, and served as principal second violin in the Louisville Orchestra. Norma is also a three-time winner of the West Coast International Fiddling competition. In addition to career as a violinist, she is a busy realtor and Grandma.
