Open Reading of Mahler Symphony No. 9 with Marin Alsop

Eugene Symphony conductor laureate Marin Alsop will lead an open rehearsal of Mahler Symphony No. 9 on Tuesday, November 16 beginning at 3:30 p.m.  in Silva Concert Hall at the Hult Center for the performing arts. This special event will feature a side-by-side reading of Mahler's last-completed symphony with the University of Oregon's Symphony Orchestra. 

This event is free and open to the public; however ticket vouchers are required. As a benefit to friends of the symphony, priority passes will be mailed to donors and subscribers by November 10. Members of the general public who are interested in attending may pick up passes at the Eugene Symphony offices beginning on November 5. The Eugene Symphony offices are located at 115 West 8th Avenue in downtown Eugene. Limited quantities are available.
