Young musicians from the Eugene-Springfield Youth Orchestras (ESYO) will join forces with the Eugene Symphony in a powerful celebration of mentorship and music-making. As part of our 60th Anniversary Special Event, this inspiring program honors the Symphony’s rich legacy while looking ahead to the next 60 years. Performing alongside professional musicians, these talented students represent the future of symphonic music in our community, carrying forward a tradition of excellence and artistic growth.

Before the concert, join Eugene Symphony’s principal percussionist Austin Cernosek for a high-energy bucket drumming workshop using just plastic buckets and drumsticks (provided on-site!) In this fun, hands-on session for all ages, you’ll explore different bucket sounds, learn simple grooves, and make music together as a community. Held at the Hult Center, ushers will direct you to the location.
After the concert, celebrate 60 years of Eugene Symphony with cake for all attendees!
