Itzhak Perlman returns for an evening that pairs symphonic grandeur with Hollywood magic. Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 3 opens with sweeping lyricism and restless Romantic energy. After intermission, Perlman takes the spotlight in a cinematic celebration arranged by John Williams, featuring unforgettable themes from Casablanca, Cinema Paradiso, Out of Africa, Schindler’s List, and more. It’s an opportunity to hear a living legend in music that shaped the sound of the silver screen.
This concert is a Masterwork. All Masterworks are included in a Season Subscription. This concert is not eligible for $10 youth and college student tickets.
